The Markins Tripod Base TB-30 plate gives your Gitzo Mountaineer Series 3 tripod additional stability and vibration dampening.
It is mounted between the ball head and the tripod base, eliminating the center column for closer to the ground shots and to further reduce weight
The base plate is machined in duraluminum, very nicely finished and hard anodized.
Comes with its own stem bolt and stem, a hollow threaded tube to allow use of the Gitzo hook

| The diameter of the leg wraps can be stretched by approx 0.2 inches (5mm). You should always pick a leg wrap size that is smaller than the diameter of the thickest section (the leg wrap should then be max 0.2 inches/5mm smaller) to get a snug fit. |
